
The painter seems to have gone to some trouble to show the double holes of the recorder for the little finger of the lowermost (left) hand, and three fingers of the uppermost hand can just be seen covering their holes. Around them, six angel musicians play portative organ, bagpipe, lute, vielle, harp and a recorder.
